Only seven games on schedule today in the NBA but there were a lot of crazy stat lines.
Chris Paul had 26-5-14 and two steals to lead the Clippers to a 121-120 over the Blazers. In the Rockets’ victory over Brooklyn, early MVP candidate James Harden exploded for 36 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Out in the East Goran Dragic tallied 34-5-5 for the Heat, while “Greek Freak” Giannis Antetokounmpo scattered 30 points, 8 rebounds, 5 dimes and 3 steals in a losing effort.
But the biggest stat line went to DeMarcus Cousins. His 31-point, 16-rebound, 5-assist, 2-steal, 3-block effort led the Kings to a huge 116-92 win over the skidding LA Lakers.
