The Los Angeles Lakers scored a huge 116-102 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, snapping a three-game losing streak behind Julius Randle’s triple-double effort.
Randle scored 19 points (9/15 FG), grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists — the third triple double of his career.
It was also the first time in 177 games the Grizzlies gave up a triple double.
“I just took what the defense gave me, trying not to force anything, get my guys going and just making the right reads,” Randle said after the game.
The Lakers had a great night shooting the ball from deep, making 17 three-pointers — 12 coming from Nick Young (20 points) and D’Angelo Russell (18 points).
Los Angeles plays Portland next on January 6 (January 7 in Manila).
