BREAKING NEWS: Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told ESPN that he has an agreement in place with Duco Events for Manny Pacquiao to defend his welterweight world title against Australia’s unbeaten Jeff Horn. The bout will take place April 22 – during one of Pacquiao’s recesses from the Filipino senate — but the site has not been finalized, Arum said. He said the fight likely will take place in Australia or in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).

Once this becomes official, Horn — who won 11 of his 16 fights via knockout — will face a tough task of preventing Pacquiao from notching his 60th career victory.
Pacquiao last fought in November 5, 2016 — a win over Jessie Vargas by unanimous decision.
