Titan x Nike pop-up space: Celebrating basketball culture this holiday season

Lifestyle, Sports

Nike and basketball retailer Titan have partnered together to launch the exclusive Titan x Nike pop-up space that showcases the best of Nike & Jordan Brand innovation, services and experiences this holiday season.

Titan’s flagship store in Bonifacio Global City has been transformed into a hub for those who play, live and obsess the game with the newest Nike Basketball, Jordan Brand and hoops-inspired Nike Sportswear innovation on full display – Nike NBA jerseys with next-level access to athletes and special rewards, the Nike LeBron XV and Air Jordan XXXII and the timeless streetwear classic, the Nike Air Force 1 which celebrates its 35th year anniversary this year.

Since 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 has inspired communities, artists and musicians the world over with its basic white silhouette and endless iterations (more than 2,000 since 1982), on and off the court. The Nike Air Force 1 Low NBA celebrates the connection to the game of basketball as Nike kicks off its relationship with the NBA. Throughout the season, new Nike Air Force 1 silhouettes will also be released during Nike Air Force 1 Fridays each week, from October to mid-December. Every purchase of the Nike Air Force 1 at the Titan x Nike pop-up space comes with an exclusive pin, dubrae or chain.

Beginning November, Nike will be staging Battle Force Manila – a series of tournaments open to young Filipinos to compete in various battles across basketball, dance, music, art and style – in celebration of the game and culture of basketball at the Titan Love Court, BGC from November 4th onwards. More information on Battle Force Manila can found on https://www.titan22.com/blog/post/nike-battle-force-manila/.

The Titan x Nike Pop-up store is open Mondays through Sundays, from 11am to 10pm.

TITAN, the Philippines basketball collective, opened the Titan Love Court to the public last Monday, April 24.

Emerging from Titan’s passion for the game, Titan Love Court is rooted in the heart of Bonifacio Global City. Amidst the pace and energy of today’s modern city, the playground stands as a special place for everyone to come together in the name of basketball. Build it and they will come, so they say: to play, to learn, to compete and to celebrate the game we all love.

The return of Air Jordan 15

When Michael Jordan announced his retirement for the second time many thought his signature shoe line would end.

But Tinker Hatfield continued it with the Air Jordan XV — a design inspired by the North American X-15, a rocket plane used by the United States Air Force and NASA back in the 1960s.

Titan now brings back the Air Jordan 15 Retro OG ‘Stealth’ — “arriving dressed in black with accents and branded hits set in varsity red.”

It will be available in all Titan stores and www.titan22.com on January 7 for a retail price of P9,445.

For more details on the release, follow Titan on Instagram (@titan_22) and Titan 22 Basketball on Facebook.

Nike Air Max Uptempo ‘Urban Haze’

Watch out for the return of the Air Max2 Uptempo and Air Max Uptempo on Tuesday, December 20.

Titan teased the sneakers on its Instagram account last week.

Known as the first Nike Basketball shoe to feature full-length visible Nike Air cushioning, the Air Max Uptempo’s original print ad heralded the shoe as having “The most Nike-Air cushioning we’ve ever put into a sole.” Standing the test of time thanks to the innovations in visible Air, the Air Max Uptempo returns to the forefront in a new, urban haze finish.

  • Suede, leather and synthetic leather upper for durable comfort and a clean look
  • Full-length Phylon midsole and Max Air unit for impact protection and cushioning
  • Rubber outsole with pivot points provides versatile traction

The Air Max2 Uptempo was introduced as one of the first-ever models to utilize Air Max2 technology. The introduction of Air Max2 allowed for varying levels of air pressure throughout the Air Max units, which significantly improved overall comfort. The Air Max2 Uptempo also returns in modern fashion, outfitted in urban haze.

  • Nubuck and synthetic leather upper for durable comfort
  • Phylon midsole with Max Air unit in heel for responsive cushioning
  • Rubber outsole for durability and traction
